Joyride was scanned in foal.

Samwise took part in a show jumping competition. On the agenda were 50 cm and 70 cm classes.
No positions this time, but the day was a success and Samwise's career choice is getting quite
clear - a show jumping pony.

Ponies driven here and there. Samwise had his official competition measurement and his height is 150 cm.
Joyride was taken to be bred. The stable pig at the stud farm was quite a shock for her.
The look on Joyride's face was quite interesting when she saw a stable pig for the first time in her life...

Wizard and Samwise have started this year's competition season. The boys have taken part in two clublevel
dressage competitions. The results have been promising, training during winter has been effective and both
have increased their performance reliability. In his second competition Wizard showed himself to be a real
dressagepony already.

Samwise's performance was very even and clean, but with no real highlights. Samwise also started his
showjumpingseason at a club competition. Both starts resulted in accepted performances, even the "frog
hurdle", that seemed horrifying beforehand, went without trouble.

It has been very cold December and January in the south-east parts of Finland. It has been -20 almost
every day. The ponies don't mind, they have taken a little time off. Now it's a good time to make plans
for the upcoming year.

The primary aim for Samwise and Wizard is Tapiola Ponibreeders in the autumn. Reaching this,
both boys need to get good results from easy dressage tests. Samwise should also practise some
showjumping and hopefully he will reach the 80-90 cm level. There is lot of work to be done,
but the boys have improved a lot.

Joyride has left her maternity leave behind and training with her is a pleasure as always.
18 years don't mean a thing as she is as eager as ever. Joyride will take part in some dressage competitions,
before she is going to be covered again this summer.

Rosclyde is still living next door with his "family". Rosclyde and his "daughter" Netta will take part in some
Shetland Show this year. After that long and thick winter coat is all gone...

Jaguar has settled well to his new home in Pertteli. He sent Hi! with his best friend, two months younger
Ohana Domnhall Dash (Ashfield Cathal Crobdhearg 20 IC - Aramara Eliza 160 C).
